Have you ever faced the inability to work?
You love what you opted for as your career but still aren’t able to currently give your best and feel lethargic?
Are you currently questioning your choices because of what you are feeling right now?
Learning something new is always exciting. At first, our curiosity will be maxed out. We have this initial feeling of enjoyment, excitement, and adventure. It’s blissful in many respects. A beginner’s journey is always interesting, no matter what people are digging into. This initial state doesn’t allow room for any boredom to creep in; we’re almost too busy to be bored. That initial feeling doesn’t last forever.
As with most things, that feeling will eventually go away and everything begins to feel incredibly monotonous and boring. We eventually reach a point where our everyday actions fall under a portion of our brains where we can easily go into the “I already know this, what else” mood. And since your autopilot mode is turned on, you are cruising along without having much thought on where to go next. You have no drive to become better because everything is seemingly going constant.
First and foremost, you should embrace this feeling, sounds weird and why should one really appreciate the lethargic attitude but being bored is incredibly normal. What you do with it is the key to your advancement. Whenever you feel bored with your daily job, you’ve only become accustomed to your everyday work. You aren’t pushing yourself or your knowledge now. You’ve gotten being comfortable being in a phase where the surface level of knowledge is enough for you to get by causing the lethargic attitude. And instead of sticking on the surface, you should be willing to dig a bit deeper under the surface to find more than you were expecting in the first place.
This is how you destroy this feeling and further get over this phase and when you do you’ll begin to see that there is much more to learn than meets the eye.
Nonetheless, if the feeling persists and your motivation isn’t the same anymore maybe it’s time to explore as it’s never too late. In case you want us by your side we are here for you so, don’t hesitate in contacting us and let us know!
